According to the mission of West Vancouver United Church, the Treasure Trove’s mission is to provide a community resource to receive gifts from the community and in turn bless and mend a part of God's broken and beloved world through the funds created.

Introduction

West Vancouver United Church wants to welcome you to The Treasure Trove Thrift & Gift Shop. A small boutique style environment, the Treasure Trove is home to quality used household, decorative and specialty goods that are offered for sale by volunteers from our congregation and the community. The Treasure Trove is open year round, and replaces the twice a year historic Elegant Flea Market.

Proceeds from the shop are used to continue West Vancouver United Church's long standing commitment to fund outreach in our community and across the Lower Mainland.

The Thrift and Gift Shop is located inside the church door just off the parking lot at the corner of Esquimalt Avenue and 20th Street in West Vancouver.

Goals

  • To provide goods for the community at a low cost;

  • Engage the community and create opportunities for fellowship;

  • Promote reusing, recycling and reduction of goods for the benefit of everyone; and

  • Provide an ongoing source of revenue for the church outreach and operations.

What's It Consist Of?

  • Thrift and Gift Shop (operating 3 days a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 12:30 pm);

  • Seasonal Pop-Up Sales;

  • Online sales with pick up at the Thrift and Gift Shop.
